1084 Beneficiaries of the Services of the Islamic Studies Center at the Deanship of Scientific Research

The Islamic Studies Center of the Deanship of Scientific Research concluded its activities held during the first academic semester, represented in organizing two programs in cooperation with some Shari`ah colleges and departments and the scientific associations in the field of Shari`ah sciences.

The center launched the second phase in the "Promising Efficient Personnel in Shari`ah-Related Research" program, in collaboration with the College of Da`wah and Fundamentals of Religion, represented by the Vice Deanship for Training and Community Service. The program covered 10 courses with 30 training hours, held for more than 233 trainees to bring the total number of those who benefited from the program in its first and second phase to 947 trainees, including academic staff members and postgraduate students in Shari`ah-related specialties. A total of 32 courses were provided with 90 training hours, presented by 26 male and female academic staff members.

The center also launched the 'Jurist Making' program, in collaboration with the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, represented by the Department of Shari`ah, and the Saudi Fiqh Association. The program presented three courses and a panel discussion. More than 137 persons benefited from the activities.

The total number of those who have benefited from the first and second phase of the "Promising Efficient Cadres in Shari`ah-Related Research" program and the 'Jurist Making' program reached about 1084 trainees.

The Islamic Studies Center of the Deanship of Scientific Research seeks to organize more projects, activities and events which will contribute to achieving the deanship's future goals and aspirations.
