Within its efforts to form bridges with the community, the College of Business Administration received the students of Zat Al-Sawari secondary school in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
The meeting included a speech offered by His Excellency the Dean of the College, Prof. Ihsan Al-Muataz, in which he welcomed the students and the coordinator of the visit, Mr. Faris Al-Juaid, one of the officials of Zat Al-Sawari School. Next, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, His Excellency Dr. Ammar Jaafar, gave a detailed explanation about the specializations and programs of the department. Afterwards, a question posed by students about tourism and hotels was answered by the Head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Dr. Ali Al-Qasim, in which he pointed out employment rates and work opportunities for the graduates of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management. His Excellency the Head of the Department of Accounting, Dr. Musaab Al-Juaid, participated in this meeting and explained the specializations and the future of the Department of Accounting. Moreover, His Excellency the Dean of the College answered the different questions and inquiries of the students about the college and its departments, and the nature of the available work opportunities for graduates. This was followed by a delegation from the academic staff members of the college (Dr. Yusri Nabil, Dr. Hani Husni, and Dr. Hatim Radwan) welcoming the students.
Finally, His Excellency Mr. Faris Al-Juaid and the students of the school expressed their thanks to Umm Al-Qura University, its leaders, and the College of Business Administration for the good reception and the hospitality they enjoyed during the visit.
