The Center Holds a Meeting to Follow Up the Progress of the Educational Process

Within the framework of continuous monitoring of the educational process, His Excellency the Director of the English Language Center, Dr. Ahmad bin Hatim Qadi, held a meeting in the presence of Her Excellency the Deputy Director of the English Language Center, Dr. Sahar bint Matar Al-Zahrani. The meeting was also attended by the advisers of the Director of the Center, His Excellency the Supervisor of the Testing and Measurement Unit at the English Language Center, His Excellency the Supervisor of the Timetables Unit, His Excellency the Supervisor of the Educational Follow-up and Student Services Unit, His Excellency the Supervisor of the Public Relations Unit at the English Language Center, and the Manager of the Office for the Director of the English Language Center.

The meeting included a lengthy discussion on the administration of the final exams and the related arrangements, as well as all issues related to the distribution of grades (midterms, term activities, and finals).

An adequate amount of time was devoted to discussing the implications of applying digital learning to medical stream students, male section, in the Joint First Year Deanship. The meeting addressed the most important issues in connection with the TeachCast digital education platform, the obstacles that students faced during the semester, and the importance of the role of the teacher in bridging the gap often created by technology, as compared to traditional learning.

At the end of the meeting, decisions were made to improve students' performance and support them, and help them pass the final exam period easily. The Director of the English Language Center also asked the Academic Coordinator of the English Language Center to coordinate an urgent meeting with the medical track students at the Deanship of the Joint First Year to listen to their concerns, address their issues regarding the English language track, and solve any problems they face immediately.
