ELC Vision:

The ELC shall be a premier institution for teaching, learning and service in English.

ELC Mission:

In addition to providing a targeted service to the community, the ELC has a mandate to create a theoretically grounded and practically effective teaching and learning environments for UQU students in the context of globally interconnected institutions so as to help those students achieve academic goals.

ELC Goals:

1. Providing high-quality English language courses for Umm Al-Qura University’s students in line with their needs.
2. Providing English Language courses for university employees and members of the community.
3. Ensuring quality in teaching the English language through research-based methods and global partnerships.
