The ELC shall be a premier institution for teaching, learning and service in English.
ELC Mission:
In addition to providing a targeted service to the community, the ELC has a mandate to create a theoretically grounded and practically effective teaching and learning environments for UQU students in the context of globally interconnected institutions so as to help those students achieve academic goals.
ELC Goals:
- Providing high-quality English language courses for Umm Al-Qura University’s students in line with their needs.
- Providing English Language courses for university employees and members of the community.
- Ensuring quality in teaching the English language through research-based methods and global partnerships.
