The Institute of Manuscripts and Revival of the Islamic Heritage Participates in the 44th Kuwait International Book Fair

During its participation in the 44th Kuwait International Book Fair, which was launched on November 20 in the Saudi pavilion, Umm Al-Qura University displayed a selection of its scientific and research products, and offered a diverse range of books.

This book fair witnesses the participation of a total of 488 publishing houses from 30 Arab and foreign countries. The event will last until November 30, and is accompanied by several cultural activities.

The UQU is participating as part of the Saudi pavilion in this international book fair, which includes exhibitors from 30 Arab and foreign countries.

The Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini, said that the university is keen to highlight its cultural and cognitive production, including scientific and research books, by participating in such forums. He added that the university is participating with 55 titles of the research publications of the chair, which cover several topics, including the work of Hajj and Umrah, Tawwafah Establishments, charitable activities, and historical studies of Mecca.

The delegation was headed by the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini, and the Director of the Islamic Heritage Revival Center at the Institute of Manuscripts and the Revival of Islamic Heritage, Dr. Ahmad bin Husain bin Ahmad Al-Mubaraki, along with Mr. Naif Kabli from Public Relations, Mr. Hossam Ubaid from the Media Center, Mr. Yassir Fahd Al-Malki, Mr. Atif Abdullah Al-Muallim, and Mr. Mansur Muhammad Al-Raidi from the Deanship of Library Affairs.

During the events of the book fair, the Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdul-Wahab Al-Resini, visited a number of pavilions participating in the exhibition, including the pavilions of the universities participating in the main pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the pavilions of the Kuwait Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Office of the Nation Council Affairs, the Sharjah Educational Pavilion, Kuwait Expo Pavilion, the educational exhibition in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the pavilion of the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman.
