The graduates of the College of Computers and Information Systems at Umm Al-Qura University participated with a paper derived from the UParking Graduation Project presented to the International Conference
Information Technology Trend 2019 (ITT 2019), which was held at Ras Al Khaimah Women's Campus, Higher College of Technology, in the United Arab Emirates on 20 and 21 November 2019.
The preliminary results of the UParking Project were presented at the annual INJAZ 2019 exhibition, where the Internet of Things (IoT) technology was used to facilitate automated and intelligent parking management.
The team consisted of five students from the Department of Computer Science: Shurouq Al-Shehri, Sahar Nulili, Lama Najmi, Abeer Al-Rashidi, and Ghaida Al-Qurashi. Dr. Noura Farouqi, Assistant Professor, Department of Information Science, supervised and followed up the project, even after the graduation of students.
All scientific papers participating in this conference will be published in "Conference Proceedings & IEEE Xplore".
The College of Computers and Information Systems wishes all of them continued success and extends thanks to Dr. Noura Farouqi for her keenness and follow-up of the project, until it yielded scientific and practical results.
