The College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, represented by the College's Vice Deanship for Training and Community Services, organized a course on "The Saudi Arbitration System and its Role in Conflict Resolution", on Wednesday and Thursday, 2-3 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1441 A.H. The course was attended by the Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, Dr. Raed Al-Usaimi, the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Talal Al-Barakati, His Excellency the Vice Dean of the College for Training and Community Services, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Sulami, His Excellency the Head of the Department of History, Dr. Abdullah Haider, the College Vice Dean for Training and Community Services (female section), Dr. Maha Al-Utaibi, and a large number of male and female students

The course aimed at introducing the Saudi arbitration system and its role in resolving disputes, as well as the types of arbitration. The course also clarified the difference between arbitration and proxy, and arbitration and conciliation. The benefit of having an arbitration clause in the contract, the methods of arbitration, the rights of the arbitration seeker and the arbitrator's judgment were also presented.

The course concluded with thanks to the trainer Dr. Faisal Al-Mualem, and the attendees were offered attendance certificates.
