Fourth year students at the Department of Business Administration, the College of Business Administration visited the Makkah-based factory of Abdul Samad Al Qurashi Perfumes. The visit was under the umbrella of the practical training program of two subjects: “Project Management” and “Project Feasibility Study,” and under the supervision of Prof. Ahmad Salman, Professor of the subjects. Moreover, the delegation enjoyed the companionship of Mr. Malek bin Anas Al Qurashi during the visit which took place on Wednesday 15^th Rabi’I 1438H (14^th   December 2016).    

During the visit, the delegation listened to a detailed explanation by Mr. Alaa An-Namer, Director of the Factory, about perfume industry phases and the factory departments. It also watched the factory’s facilities such as modern equipment, mechanisms, and devices, which qualified it to win the ISO 9001.

In the same context, the students were introduced to the method of perfume exportation from the Makkah-based factory to 400 outlets all over the world in order to reach consumers at the right places and times.  

On the other hand, the BA students expressed their gratitude towards the factory affiliates for their hospitality and generosity, and stressed their admiration of the large leap of the factory in keeping pace with the most recent technology in production lines. This was because they sensed that the factory took over the manufacture of all Abdul Samad Al Qurashi products according to the most recent quality standards, in a way that fitted the “Made in Makkah” motto which the company was proud of.
