This awareness exhibition targeted students, faculty staff members, and employees. It was held on Wednesday during the event organized by the University Medical Center at its headquarters in Al-Aziziyyah, in partnership with the College of Public Health and Health Informatics. The campaign was held under the slogan, "Rub Your Hands Together".

The University Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz Suruji, the Dean of the College of Public Health and Health Informatics, Dr. Ahmad ibn Omar Babalgith, and the Director of the University Medical Center, Dr. Yassir Hassan Bahakim, attended the exhibition, which was divided into four thematic introductory sections: handwashing, correct methods of using antibiotics, dealing with spilled fluids in health facilities, and acupuncture. The exhibition also highlighted the role of the health personnel at the University Medical Center in infection control.

The Director of the Medical Center pointed out that the organization of this event came within the context of the health care roles offered by the center to the university staff, stressing the central role that protection plays in preventing the spread of diseases and epidemics. Finally, he mentioned further relevant steps, including: introducing patients' rights to infection control, strengthening the precautionary control measures adopted in health facilities, and promoting the practice of regular handwashing. He stressed that the center seeks to provide integrated services in health care, especially in the aspects of awareness-raising and medical care through its departments and units.
