The editorial board of the University Journal of Language Sciences and Literature held its third meeting for the academic year 1440/1441 A.H. on Wednesday evening, 11 Muharram, 1441 A.H. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, Prof. Abdul-Rahman bin Hasan Al-Arif, and all the members, as follows:
- Dr. Zhafir bin Ghurman Al-Amri.
- Dr. Abdullah bin Sarhan Al-Qarni,
- Prof. Yasin Abu Al-Haija.
- Dr. Abdul-Majeed Al-Tayyib Omar.
- Dr. Si`dah bint Tafif Al-Da`di.
During the meeting, the board was briefed on the periodical report of the journal's work in the previous year, 1439–1440 A.H., and the achievements and the issues of the journal that were published during this period. The board approved the publishing of scientific research that fulfills the criteria for publication. Moreover, the board was briefed about the approval of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University to add two international external members to the editorial board. At the end of the meeting, appropriate recommendations were approved.
