Carrying out its mission in endorsing the culture of community sports and its importance, and in response to the directions of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Dr. Yasin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, and Dr. Mastur Al-Faqih, the Head the Department of Physical Education, the department organized a walking activity on Tuesday, 12 Rajab, 1440 A.H., at 5 p.m., entitled, 'Your Health is in Your Steps', at Al-Shuhada' Walk in Al-Qunfudhah. This activity aimed at pointing out the importance of walking in preventing diseases and improving one's health.

More than 400 students at the Department of Physical Education participated in this activity, in addition to some groups from the local community. This activity was organized under the supervision of His Excellency the Head of the Department of Physical Education, Dr. Mastur bin Ali Al-Faqih, their Excellencies the academic staff members, and members of the Public Relations and Media Unit at the department.
