On Monday 27 Jumada Al-Thani 1440 A.H., students from the Department of Business Administration of Hajj and Umrah in the College of Business Administration made a field visit to the Haji and Mu`tamir's Gift Charity Association in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. This visit was under the framework of the practical applications related to the Tawwafah institutions course, and the management of transport and route planning in the holy places course, under the supervision of Dr. Ammar Attar.
The students listened to an introductory explanation by Mr. Isma`il Al-Yazidi about the association and its most important programs and products, which are distributed to pilgrims and Mu`tamirs at land and sea ports and airports. The students were also briefed on one of the distinguished initiatives provided by the association for the Guests of the Merciful, namely "Hajj Capsule." It aims to serve the Guests of the Merciful through an ideal economic solution in crowded places such as airports, train stations, highway rest houses, and Miqats (sites for entering the ritual state for Hajj or `Umrah) for pilgrims who need rest. These capsules provide them with all the personal needs required to end the state of Ihram (ritual state for Hajj or `Umrah), have a bath, do their laundry, and keep their luggage and belongings safe.
Finally, the Students at the Department of Business Administration of Hajj and Umrah expressed their thanks to the affiliates of the Association for the warm reception and hospitality.
Thus, the Department of Business Administration of Hajj and Umrah expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency Dr. Ammar Attar for what he offers of outstanding efforts in conducting these field visits. These visits promote students' abilities and skills, and link the theoretical knowledge with the real life applications and practices used in the labor market.
