At the King Abdul-Aziz historic hall, on October 30th, 2016, a ceremony was held to honor those participated in serving the haj performers 1437-1438. Dr, Bakri ibn Ma’atuq A’asas the Umm Al-Qura Univeristy president, sponsored the ceremony.
Still, during the ceremony, Dr. Bakri gave a speech in which he thanked the health colleges’ staff and staudnets for the efforts they exerted in serving the haj performers. Similarly, the Medical Applied Sciences College Dean, Dr. Ahmed ibn Mohammed A’ashi, on behalf of the health colleges’ deans, delivered a speech offering thanks to the students and academic staff members participated, as well as extending thanks to the University President for supporting the voluntary initiatives meant for serving the Haj and Umrah Performers.
Represented by its students and academic staff members from all the departments and academic years, the Medical Applied Sciences College took part in serving the haj performers for the fourth consecutive years, by presenting the health services at the Majid Al-Haram (the Sacred Mosque). The number of those participated from the College in this campaign reached 94 volunteers.
