Umm Al-Qura University
The UQU College of Business Administration held an honoring ceremony on Wednesday evening, 3 Jumada Al-Awwal 1440 A.H., to honor some of those who have served the college and contributed to its achievements. His Excellency the ex-dean of the college, Dr. Sultan Al-Baqmi, the ex-vice dean for educational affairs, Prof. Ahmad Al-Qarni, the ex-head of the Departments of Business Administration and Marketing, Dr. Mahmoud Falatta, and the ex-head of the Department of Tourism and Hotels, Dr. Ali Al-Qasim come at the top of the list of those honored in the ceremony. The ceremony also celebrated those who have recently obtained PhD certificates, namely Dr. Ayman Adham, Dr. Salih Ba-Qadir and Dr. Naiem Al-Baihani.
His Excellency the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Prof. Ihsan Al-Mu`taz, attended the ceremony together with the vice deans of the college, the heads of departments, the academic staff, and the employees of the college.
At the end of the ceremony, memorial shields and gifts were presented to the celebrated persons in a friendly atmosphere. The audience expressed their desire to continue to hold such ceremonies for the positive impact they have on increasing affinity and love amongst the college staff.
