By Allah's Grace, the supervisory committee of development programs that emanated from the Committee of Program Creation and Development at the Department of Curricula and Teaching Methodologies has completed its mission by virtue of the marvelous support and cooperation received from the department members.

Building these programs had gone through several stages that involved surveying similar programs on the local, national, and international arena; holding referential comparisons; designing program goals and objectives; outlining the reasons for building them; writing course descriptions; writing learning outcomes; and the use of human resources. Work on these stages lasted for 12 months.

The programs are based on specific theoretical and philosophical frameworks in harmony with the philosophy of the Saudi community, its Islamic identity, and Arabic heritage.

These programs are based on the availability of many innovative and practical practices in order to build, develop, and assess educational practices and curricula and produce scientific knowledge. This is to achieve the aspirations of the Saudi community, which are in harmony with Saudi vision 2030. It also aims to improve outcomes in line with twenty-first century skills and sustainable development.

These programs passed several stages of development and review that aimed at improving the structure of these programs according to international scientific standards.

It is worth mentioning that the Supreme Supervisory Committee held many workshops and reviews that lasted for 50 hours over three months, which positively affected the quality of outcomes.

The Head of the Curricula and Teaching Methodologies Department and the Program Creation and Development Committee, Prof. Awad bin Salih Al-Maliki, thanked the deputy head of the committee, Dr. Murdi bin Ghurm Allah Al-Zahrani; program coordinator, Dr. Said Sha'ban Abdul-Alim Yunus; and the committee members, his Excellency Dr. Rajih Al-Shahri, his Excellency Dr. Awad Al-Sari`i, and his Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Al-Harbi for their great efforts and the sacrifice of their precious times to serve the department out of loyalty to knowledge and its seekers.

The head of the department extends thanks to his Excellency Prof. Abdul-Rahman Al-Maliki, his Excellency Dr. Hazza` Abaqrin, his Excellency Dr. Khalid Al-Ubaidi, and her Excellency Prof. Hanan Al-Nimari for the exceptional effort they exerted in supporting the committee and bearing additional burdens in curriculum description, reviews, and updates at every stage. Thanks are also expressed to the Deputy Head of the Department, Her Excellency Dr. Nivin Al-Barakati and specializations coordinators who exerted great effort in developing learning outcomes. He also thanked members of the curricula review and description committees who participated with their ideas, support, and work in order to achieve success for the Department of Curricula and Teaching Methodologies.

We ask Allah to reward them well and make their efforts on their scales on the Day of Judgment. We ask Him (Exalted and Glorified be He) to bless this work, grant success to these efforts, make it beneficial to citizens of this country throughout the ages, achieve the aspirations and hopes of our great country, accomplish its expectations, and maintain its glory and prestige under our wise leadership.
