As part of the "You are Creative" program, which is implemented by the Vice Deanship of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies for Training and Community Service for the UQU female employees at Al-Zahir Campus, a session was held on the female employee's rights and duties on Thursday, 7 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The session was conducted by Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Saadiyah Al-Bishi, Deputy Head of the History Department, and Her Excellency Dr. Nawal Badghaish, Assistant Professor at the Shari`ah Department, in the presence of Her Excellency Dr. Maha Al-Otaibi, the College’s Vice Dean for Training and Community Service, and many of the University female employees.

Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Saadiyah Al-Bishi started the session by welcoming the attendees. She then clarified that a public job has rights and duties, and just as the employee seeks to obtain his full employment rights, he has to perform his employment duties in the required manner, in return. Some of the employee's rights, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Civil Service, include: vacations, promotions, training, voluntary termination of employment, evaluation of employment performance, and discipline.

Then Her Excellency Dr. Nawal referred to the employee's duties, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Civil Service, which include: commitment to working hours, avoiding disgraceful acts, adopting noble morals, treating colleagues kindly, loyalty to the country and homeland, seeking authorization before embarking on any project, preserving work secrets, not practicing personal business transactions. Dr. Nawal then presented an interesting video depicting the well-known hare and tortoise story, from which the attendees learnt the importance of cooperation between the individuals to fulfill targets.

At the end of the session, souvenirs were given to the employees, who expressed their thanks and appreciation for the presentation of the honorable professors.
