The College Vice-Deanship for Training and Community Service held a training course entitled “Skill of Editing Object of Controversy”, which was presented by Dr. Ismail Marhaba from Shariah Department, on Monday, 13\2\1440 AH.

Dr. Marhaba began by mentioning the objectives and importance of the course, since it is related to a fundamental element in comparative jurisprudence, and attended by a number of members of the Department of Shariah and postgraduate students and graduates.

The course included the following points, which were explained in detail by Dr. Marhaba, with some examples and exercises, as follows: (the conventional definition of the dispute, the titles of the liberation of the conflict, the benefits of the liberation of the conflict and its types). He also mentioned a number of rules to be followed in the liberation of the conflict and concluded with some research ideas in the liberation of the conflict.

At the end of the course, Dr. Ismail thanked Dr. Ibrahim Al-Salami, Vice-Dean of the College for Training and Community Service, and his deputy, Dr. Maha Al-Otaibi, for their efforts in the Vice-Deanship and gave him the opportunity to present this session.

He also elaborated to everyone that he will receive their inquiries on this subject on his private e-mail that is on the university website.

Also, Dr. Ibrahim Al Salmi thanked Dr. Ismail Marhaba for his initiative and presented it to the session which was appreciated by the audience.
