The editorial board of UQU Journal of Language Sciences and Literature held its first meeting during the AY 1439-1440 AH, on Wednesday evening, 2/1/1440 AH; in the presence of all the editorial board members. They are: Prof. Abdelrahman bin Hassan Al-Aref, editor-in-chief; Prof. Abdullah bin Sarhan Al-Qarni, editorial board member; Dr. Abdulmajed Al-Taib Omar, editorial board member; Prof. Dhafer bin Gharman Al-Omari; Prof. Yassin bin Mohamed Abu Al-Haijaa; and Dr. Saada bint Tafif Al-Doady.
The meeting discussed the topics on the agenda, including the annual report of the journal during the past period, approving the issuance of the journal’s upcoming issues, whose peer review procedures completed and approved by the committees. It also discussed the development of the journal's work electronically, the start of obtaining the Arab Impact Factor, and the ISI of the Journal.
Finally, the meeting concluded to the appropriate recommendations.
