In pursuance of the directives of the Dean of the College of Business Administration Dr. Sultan bin Ayedh Al-Bogami, the college vice deanship for educational affairs represented by the active learning center has been very keen to expand learning via mobile phones and on the project-based learning methodology. It should be mentioned that students applications have won advanced ranks in innovation and community service theme in the 7th students' forum.
During this year, students in the Departments of Tourism and Hospitality and Hajj and Umrah business administration under the supervision of Dr. Yosri Nabeel and the support of the Head of Tourism and Hospitality Department Ali Al-Qasim and the Head of Hajj and Umrah Business Administration Department Dr. Mohamed Sharif, have designed primary applications for booking hotels in Makkah and Al-Madinah and have set mobile-based e-standard to follow up and assess hotel services for pilgrims and Umrah performers depending on specific international criteria in this regard, a third group of students have designed an application to facilitate services provided for pilgrims and Umrah performers in their residence units.
Students of the college extended their thanks and appreciation to the university leadership and the college for providing proper educational environment stimulating innovative ideas.
