The College of Dentistry at Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) organized the Seventh Scientific Research Day on Monday, 30th Rajab 1439H (16th April 2018). This was in the presence of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Khotany (the Dean), in addition to the College’s vice-deans, department heads and faculty members. The event also comprised a scientific poster contest and witnessed the participation of (20) scientific posters that were assessed by the arbitration committee.
During the contest, the research submitted by Students/ Nora Al-Humaidhy and Ghaidaa Khan and supervised by Dr. Nadia Badr ranked first as the best scientific poster. Moreover, Dr. Abrar Faquih and Dr. Doaa Al-Yamany ranked second with a research supervised by Dr. Nadia Badr. The third rank was awarded to the research by Students/ Arwa Al-Zahrany and Rahaf Al-Suleimany under the supervision of Dr. Mashael Al-Qahtany and Dr. Ibtisam Afify.
At the end of the event, Dr. Abdulaziz Khotany extended thanks and appreciation to the participants and organizers of the event, wishing them permanent guidance and success.
