On Thursday, Jumada II 6, 1439H, Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas,Umm Al-Qura University President, inspected the University Medical Center. He was accompanied by Dr. Yassir bin Hassan Bahakeem, the Director of the University Medical Center. The UQU President checked the "World Cancer Day" event in the Center’s headquarters in Aziziyah Campus.

The President's tours included the medical services in the Center, including the Pharmacy and the Department of the Medical Records. He inspected the participating pavilions in the event and listened to a detailed explanation about it from the work team, which included the prevention and elimination of cancer’s different diseases.

He praised the awareness and educational programs offered by the University Medical Center for all the UQU affiliates that raise the medical awareness, wishing the participation and activation of all the university’s affiliates in the campaign. He also lauded the efforts of Dr. Yasser bin Soliman Shosho, the UQU Vice President, and his continuous follow up on the medical services offered in the Center. He also praised the Director of the Center and his working team for the efforts being exerted, which contribute to enhancing the quality of the offered services. He urged everyone to work more to promote the medical services.

Dr. Yassir bin Hassan Bahakeem, the Director of the University Medical Center, expressed his deep thanks for Dr. Bakri for his inspection tour, lauding his time, continuous support and care given to the Center. He also praised the follow up and directives of Dr. Shosho for anything that could promote the level of the treatment and preventive services offered by the Medical Center for all the UQU students and affiliates.
