The College of Applied Sciences has been witnessing active mobility towards the academic and social responsibility under the leadership of Dr. Waleed bin Jamil Altaf, the college dean. In the framework of this mobility, a group of Technical College’s students in Makkah made an introductory visit to the College of Applied Sciences’ Physics Department, during which they took a tour of the department’s different facilities and laboratories, including the Simulation Lab. The students listened to the explanation offered by the technicians and the faculty members as well.

The group held a session with Dr. Saleh Al-Luqmany, head of the Physics Department, and Dr. Hatem Al-Tas, vice-dean, to discuss several topics of interest to them. One of the most important topics was the scientific cooperation between the two colleges.

At the end of the visit, the group lauded the Applied Sciences College’s reception; whereas they gained good impression about studying in the college. Moreover, the group called for repeating such a visit between the two colleges.
