The College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, with the cooperation of the Deanship of the E-Learning and Distance Learning, organized an introductory meeting for Rawasem program and for spreading the Kaizen culture. The session was held on Sunday, Rabi’ I 8, 1439H, for the college’s affiliates at Khoqair Hall. A group of the college’s members and employees attended the event. Dr. Hanaa Yamani, the Vice Dean of the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education, talked about the objectives of Rawasem program in achieving the continuous enhancement for Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) and making a simple change or small improvement to the work yet a continuous one, in addition to offering advanced solutions with simple ideas from various minds.
Moreover, Ruba Ghazzawi, the Assistant Manager of the UQU Events Center, explained the definition of Kaizen, the bank of ideas, and how to send any idea or initiative that may serve the university and its development to the program’s email. These ideas will be then presented before an advisory committee and implemented if possible. The meeting was well-received by the college’s affiliates.
At the close of the event, Dr. Haila Al-Solaimy, the college’s Acting Vice Dean, thanked and expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted in the meeting and for the fruitful cooperation with the college’s deanship for girls in spreading the culture of quality of work, which achieves the parents’ ambitions in fulfilling the Kingdom Vision 2030.
