As part of the presentation and discussion program of the graduation projects of the Architectural Design Studios of the students of Islamic architecture for the second semester of the academic year 1436-1437H, the following projects were presented and discussed on 10th of Sha'aban 1437H:
Architectural Design Studio 6 - 30
Students participated in this project amounted to 78, under the supervision of Prof. Thamir Al-Harbi, Prof.Abdu Al-Absi, Prof. Khalid Sami, Dr. Samir Ashi, Dr. Samir Felmban, Eng. Abdullah Bagasi and Eng. Ebaa Khan. The projects covered studying, topographic architecting, analyzing, re-planning of a number of random residential areas in Makkah such as Otaibiah, Khalidiah, Al-Zohour, and Jabal Al-Noor.
The presentations were followed by a discussion by a panel including Prof. Ehab Farouq Rashid, Dr. Amgad bin Abdurrahman Al-Maghrabi, Dr. Mohammad Shawky Abu Laila.
Architectural Design Studio (2): MSc
Students participated in this project amounted to 4, under the supervision of Prof. Abdul Hamid Al-Bis. The projects presented by the students covered solving problems of accommodations, designing of some architectural buildings such as the development of Al-Saqqaf Palace area.
The presentations were followed by a discussion by a panel including Prof. Mohamed Wahba, Prof. Mohamed Atif Elhami, Dr. Atif Abu Aouf, Dr. Amro Al-Zawahri, Dr. Saeed Mansi, Dr. Ali Al-Mansouri.
