Department of Physical Education participated in the activities of the 5^th Conference on Teacher Preparation. The Conference was organized by UQU College of Education from 23 to 25/04/1437H under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa, Minister of Education. The Conference was held under the logo "Teacher Preparation and Training in View of Requirements of Development and Contemporary Development" under supervision of HE Dr. Bakri bin Matouk Assas, UQU President and Dr. Ali al-Matrafi, Dean of College of Education.

A number of teaching members at Department of Physical Education participated in different activities of the Conference which reflects great positive interaction of all attendees and those interested in the teacher and educational affairs. Students of Department of Physical Education participated in the organizing activities of the Conference sessions. The Department of Physical Education's participation amounted to 17% of the total scientific activities of the College of Education. Such participation included scientific papers and worksheets. This is a high participation rate of the scientific production of the Department.

It is worth noting that the Department of Physical Education will seek during the coming period to optimize the utilization of scientific experience of the teaching members. It will work on benefiting from different forms of such experience including scientific research, seminars, lectures, and other scientific activities which aim at scientific and practical interaction at the levels of the Department, the College and the external community and in collaboration with societal parties related to the Department's graduates.

In addition to participation in the activities of the different conference committees, the scientific participation of the Department came as follows:

- "Designing the List of Career Development of the PE Teachers in Primary Stage", Research by Dr. Sultan bin Abdulsamad al-Khodari.

- "The Mental image perceived by student – teacher about the courses of handball at the Department of Physical Education of the UQU College of Education," Research by Dr. Khalid Hussain Mohammed.

- "What drives students to join Department of Physical Education of the UQU College of Education," Research by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Amin Moussa and Dr. Mohammed Abdulrahman Hefni.

- "Education, Nations' life and secret of progress," a worksheet by Prof. Dr. Medhat Qassim Abdulraziq.
