President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas checked on the University Medical Center on Thursday Sha'ban 29, 1438 H accompanied by UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir bin Suleiman Shoushou and the Director General of University Medical Center Dr. Yassir bin Hassan Ba Hakeem. He also launched the GCC Oral Health Unified Week at the Center's  Headquarters in Azizia. 

Dr. also checked on the new services in the Center and their preparation mechanism according to the latest medical equipment including; Physical Therapy Unit, Laboratory Unit and blood sampling room for men. His inspection visit also covered dental clinics including the two new clinics introduced recently to increase the number of these clinics to six. He also checked on 3D Panorama Device, an advanced and modern equipment in the field of dental technology. 

During his visit, Dr. Assas also inaugurated the events of the GCC Oral Health Unified Week and listened to an elaborate presentation about the event from the work team including; prevention and reduction of dental diseases, educating children and their parents on the importance of the dental health. After that, a photo was taken for Dr. Assas and the team of work representing the employees of the University Medical Center. 

Further, Dr. Assas praised the educational and awareness programs provided by the University Medical Center for the Affiliates of the University and its role in increasing their health awareness, wishing all university affiliates to join and interact with this campaign. He also lauded efforts exerted by the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir Shoushou and his continuous follow-up of the services provided by the Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Assas lauded the efforts undertaken by the Director General of the University Medical Center Dr. Yassir Ba Hakeem and all the staff of the Center for their efforts which contributed to improving the provided services, urging everyone to exert more effort to upgrade medical services.  

For his part, UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir Shoushou valued the directives and support of the UQU President provided for all the facilities and sectors of this lofty edifice to undertake their tasks in the most convenient manner possible. He also lauded the efforts of the Director General of the University Medical Center Dr.Ba Hakeem which contributed to developing the medical services according to the highest standards adopted in the medical field. 

Within the same vein, the Director General of the University Medical Center Dr. Ba Hakeem expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for his visit to check on the new medical services in the center which will contribute- Allah willing- to  improving quality of the therapeutic services provided for all visitors of the center,  besides inaugurating the GCC Oral Health Unified Week, praising the continuous support  and keenness attached by  Dr. Assas to the Center. He also valued close follow up and directives of UQU Vice President Dr. Shoushou to whatever contributes to upgrading the quality of preventive and therapeutic services provided by the Center to all UQU students,  affiliates and all those who are eligible to receive treatment at the Center. Dr. Ba Hakeem also extended his thanks to his colleagues and all the affiliates of the Center for their efforts exerted to upgrade the quality of the preventive and therapeutic services.
