A number of students from Umm Al-Qura University, represented by the College of Business Administration, participated in the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the Dubai Expo 2020. The participants passed through several nomination stages, starting with registration, interview, and then the announcement of the students nominated for training.
The students were trained by the organizers of the pavilion on several issues of interest to the college and the work environment, including: crowd management, customer services, VIP logistics management, tourist guides, and others.
The different corners in the pavilion were set up to provide many programs that seek to serve and educate visitors and help them understand the history and time-honored civilization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with regard to tourism and economic, social and cultural aspects, as well as the theme of transformation.
The pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participating in the expo contains main messages on (people, nature, heritage, and opportunities for development).
This training was a profoundly impactful experience for the female students, offering them beneficial training and improving them educationally. It was also a golden opportunity for the female students to participate in the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Dubai Expo 2020 and acquire distinguished experience in their field of study.
It is worth noting that there is still an opportunity to register during the next week for those wishing to receive training during the period between the first of January and the end of March in 2022 A.C.
