Representatives of the Ataa Initiative, one of initiatives launched by the Deanship of Scientific Research, paid a visit Wednesday, 7/8/1438H, to Esaad center of educational consultancy. The visit was made to introduce main goals and progress made by the initiative in the field of community partnership and enriching the NGO's research units. Also, it was meant to explore ways to help the center.
It started at 7:00 a.m. to start a tour for reviewing the center's activities and its programs. During the visit, Vice-Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Hanady bint Mohamed Behiry provided an introductory presentation on the Deanship of Scientific Research at Umm Al Qura University (UQU). Vice-Dean of the Education College and Leader of the Ataa Initiative Dr. Sumayyah Sharaf gave a presentation on the initiative's vision, objectives, mission and roles that may be played by partners and under outdoor agreements as well as the work plan and phases.
In the same vein, Head of the Center Dr. Amira Al Saedi previewed a list of research and training needs at the center which may be met by Ataa's help via consultancy and research services.
The meeting was attended by leaders of Ataa initiative including Vice President of Medicine Research Center Dr. Sumayyah Hariri, Vice President of Arab Language Research Center Dr. Yahfa Feda, Vice-Dean of Applied Sciences College for Educational Affairs Dr. Badriya Al Jahdaly, and Vice Dean of Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Dr. Fayza Al Lahyani. They wrapped up the visit at 9:00 p.m. The initiative representative voiced thanks on behalf of the Scientific Research Deanship for the invitation and hailed efforts exerted to serve community.
