The First Introductory Meeting for the Affiliates of the College of Social Sciences: “Let’s Communicate to Form an Integrated Structure”

The College of Social Sciences, on Sunday, 28 Muharram 1443 A.H., organized its first introductory meeting with the male and female affiliates of the college. The meeting was entitled: “Let’s Communicate to Form an Integrated Structure” and was held with the aim of boosting communication with the college leadership, identifying the needs of its affiliates, and receiving their suggestions to achieve integration for the benefit of the college and its advancement.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Abdul-Fattah bin Jamil Bustanji, launched the meeting by welcoming the audience. He lauded the attendees for activating the academic advising for the students and for their cooperation in achieving a safe in-person attendance for the academic year 1443 A.H. He also appreciated the efforts of the heads and deputy heads of the departments during the past exceptional period, handing them appreciation certificates in return for the efforts they exerted to ensure the regularity of the educational process in line with the adopted precautionary protocols.

Next, the dean announced the issuance of the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad bin Hamad Aal Al-Sheikh, to organize and sponsor the First International Conference of the College of Social Sciences, entitled: “Makkah at the Heart of Sciences”, which will be held in Rajab 1443 A.H. He urged the college affiliates to participate in making such an unprecedented accomplishment of the college a success. After that, he thanked the University President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, for the support he provided for this conference and for facilitating its relevant procedures, and he expressed his appreciation of His Excellency's continuous support for the college.

On their part, the college vice deans, heads of the departments and affiliates provided their development suggestions regarding the volunteer work, scientific research, study programs and other topics, for the leadership to study and considered their applicability. All their ideas were welcomed by the dean and the vice deans.
