The Deanship of Scientific Research, represented by His Excellency Prof. Bassem Yousef Al-Kazhemi, participated in the workshop organized by the National Center of Meteorology in Jeddah on 2 Dhul-Hijjah 1442 A.H., under the title: “Research Opportunities for Development and Innovation in Weather and Climate”.
During the workshop, the services and capabilities available at the National Center of Meteorology were reviewed, and the research challenges and future projects of the center were highlighted. Such research projects require the involvement of different universities as specialized research bodies to find solutions and conduct studies related to the center's activity.
Finally, possible aspects of cooperation between the center and various universities were discussed as a first step towards integration and sustainability in development to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030.
