The Educational Dentistry Hospital at the College of Dentistry, Umm Al-Qura University, received institutional accreditation from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, for a period of four years. This achievement was accomplished due to the college fulfilling the quality standards set by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties pertaining to evaluating training institutions and centers that offer clinical training for male and female dentists.
Her Excellence the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Mashail bint Saeed Al-Qahtani, pointed out the importance of this achievement in accomplishing excellence in the field of health training that allows fellows and trainees to earn specialization certificates in various dental specialties. On her part, she thanked the University President, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, for his support in accomplishing this achievement. She also offered thanks to the work team responsible for the college accreditation file for their outstanding efforts in achieving this goal.
