Undoubtedly, scientific research is the backbone of the development and advancement of nations. Since the birth of humankind, people have always searched for ways to improve their living conditions. Therefore, scientific research in the field of pharmacy has gained particular importance because of its contribution to a better understanding of the mechanisms of diseases, and consequently to the development of appropriate medicines.
The Vice Deanship of the College of Pharmacy for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research is one of the deanships established in 1431 A.H. to control the affairs of postgraduate studies (master's, doctorate, and associate degrees) and scientific research. The deanship also coordinates cooperation between its various units to communicate with graduate students in order to discuss ways of developing scientific research and overcoming the problems faced by researchers. Additionally, the deanship works to develop many academic programs to keep pace with the requirements and demands of the community.
By Allah's grace, three master's programs were approved at the College of Pharmacy, which are as follows:
