Aims & Scope

The journal's scope is to publish research that will interest health specialties in academic and clinical practice. In addition, the journal aims to facilitate the development of high-quality research, education, and health services. Contributions reporting original research that demonstrate pertinence to medical investigation are encouraged and could be published as Original Articles, Review Articles, Short Communications, and Case Reports. The journal seeks to include new insights into the basic medical sciences; improve the accessibility of evidence for best general medical practice and advance clinical research; illuminate new perspectives in medicine and health practices that include associated ethical, cultural, and social issues.

Objectives

• Attract high-quality scientific articles relevant to medicine and allied health practices.
• Increase the quality and number of research outputs at UQU and others of scientific merit.
• Ensure published articles have been peer-reviewed for expert opinion on originality, scientific value, and relevance to clinical practice.
• Improve the accessibility of research evidence for current medical and healthcare practices through advertising and conferences.
• Contribute to the publication of scientific material related to the development objectives in Saudi Arabia and the 2030 Vision; health services in the community, Hajj, and Umrah.
• Work towards a higher percentage of internationally-rated research.
