Academic Advising Committee

Academic advising is considered to be one of the pillars of university education as it guides students to get the best outcomes, adapt to the university environment, and seize available opportunities through providing them with academic skills that improve their level of scientific achievement.

Objectives of Academic Advising:

Academic advising aims to:

• prepare students to know and adapt to university life; 
• provide students with sound information about the college, educational policies, and educational resources and programs; 
• promote students' academic achievement, increase their abilities, and remove any obstacles that hinder their scientific achievement; 
• reduce the chances of academic failure (preventive advising); 
• provide counselling and help for those having academic problems; 
• care for students with low educational achievements, and follow up with them till they upgrade their educational level; 
• pay great attention to talented students and offer things that may promote their abilities and endorse their creativity.
