Tasks of the Faculty Member

(Professor - associate professor - teaching assistant)

  1.  Teaching at both levels of Bachelor and graduate studies.
  2.  Giving exercise and practical classes within the decided portions.
  3.  Supervising classroom and supplementary research.
  4. Supervising PhD and Master’s dissertations, according to the regulations.
  5. Attending the meetings of the department board, participating in them and in the votes on its decisions and recommendations.
  6. Conducting all work related to the exams of the taught courses:  (Developing questions, correction of answer, carrying out thorough revision, and inputting exams into the computer).
  7.  Conducting the work assigned to him/her by the board of the department in accordance with the decided bylaws and regulations.
  8.  Taking part in the committees of the department, college and university.
  9. Actively contributing to conducting scientific research in his/her specialty.
  10.  Participating in conferences, forums, and scientific as well as academic meetings, whether they are held in KSA or outside it, in light of the bylaw organizing the affairs of Saudi faculty members at universities.
  11. Conducting the regular reports demanded from the college or the scientific departments, in addition to filling in questionnaires, forms, etc...
  12. The tasks of lecturers and teaching assistants:
  13. Giving exercises and practical classes, as well as any other similar issues necessary for the department.
  14.  Carrying out the administrative work assigned to him/her.
