All praise be to Allah, and may Allah's peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. To proceed:

Allah has preserved, protected and taken care of the Arabic language, and has attached to it the needed concern as an integral part of the pure Islamic Shari`ah, being the only means to understand the Shari`ah and learn about its rulings.

As such, the link between such an honorable language and our pure religion has greatly elevated its status among other languages, and the role of classical Arabic in spreading Islam has been well proven.

In this context, the Jamoum Department of Arabic Language confirms its commitment to maintaining the Arabic-Islamic identity. The department is also significantly interested in graduating a generation that links the Arab-Islamic heritage with the contemporary cultural composition, depending on a constellation of competent teachers.
