The UQU Social Sciences Journal is an extension of the UQU's Educational, Social and Human Sciences Journal, which was issued in 1419 A.H. (1999), and lasted until 1428 A.H. (2007). Then, the Scientific Council issued a decision on 13/1/1429 A.H. to modify the names of some scientific journals in the university, and to establish new scientific journals to reach 7 journals. Accordingly, the UQU Social Sciences Journal, which began its research activity in 1429 A.H., was established with the task of publishing social and humanitarian research.
