Abstract
Training competencies have become one of the urgently needed requirements in modern societies, in the era of artificial intelligence, the world of robots and invisible sensory forces. Therefore, this study aimed to research the training competencies required by the labor market for future professions in the media. And to identify the training plans and programs that achieve the training competencies of Arab media professionals. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach and its applications were used by surveying a sample of (192) media professionals working in the Iraqi and Sudanese media. The study reached results indicating that (89%) of the sample participated in the applied practices of the training programs and achieved the training competencies, compared to (11%) who did not participate in the applied practices, but rather listened to the theoretical lessons that were not practical exercises. And (73%) of the sample confirmed that they participated in future training programs related to working in integrated newsrooms and producing digital content for communication sites, compared to (27%) who did not participate in such programs. - The study also revealed that (47%) of the sample members obtained (1-3) training programs, compared to (23%) of those who obtained (4-6) programs, and there (30%) obtained more than seven programs training and achieved the required competence to practice media work with high efficiency.
