Abstract
This research deals with the aspects that are absent in the curriculum of teaching the Holy Qur’an. Furthermore, It scrutinizes and highlights three aspects: the psychological, methodological, and the cognitive aspect. The psychological domain is represented by the students' choice, their perseverance in gaining knowledge, and their glorification for the Qur’an and its value. the methodological dimension is achieved by illustrating the most prominent needs for the student to understand the approach of the Holy Qur’an, such as: paying attention to the purposes of the Qur’an and the comprehensive message and view for each surah. Finally, The cognitive aspect is achieved by clarifying the most prominent fields of knowledge that should be identified, such as God's laws in the creation.
