Abstract
The current study aimed to investigate the impact of interactive multimedia-based teaching on developing writing skills for fourth grade students. The study followed a quasi-experimental design. The study sample consisted of 40 students who were purposefully selected from the fourth grade at a private school in the capital, Amman. They were randomly divided into two groups: the experimental group, which was taught using interactive multimedia and consisted of 20 students, and the control group, which was taught using the traditional method and also consisted of 20 students. The study tool (Arabic achievement test) was constructed and its validity and reliability were confirmed. The results of the study showed significant statistical differences in the achievement test according to the teaching method, with differences favoring the students taught with interactive multimedia. The study concluded with several recommendations emphasizing the need to integrate interactive multimedia in the educational process for other scientific subjects and across multiple educational stages..
