Abstract
This study aims to identify the role of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Empowering women leaders in Light of the Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030 AD, and trying to reveal the reality of this Empowering, and the challenges it faces, from the Viewpoint of Female Leaders in University Majmaah, To achieve this goal, the case study approach was used, The questionnaire was used as tool for data collection, The data were analyzed using the statistical package for social science, was applied to a sample (45) One of the women leaders at Majmaah University, during the first semester of the academic year 1444 AH/2022AD, it was one of the most prominent results:The Reality Empowering women leaders in institutions of higher education It ranges from medium to weak, Training came in the first level, then effective communication, then delegation, then motivation, The study reached that there were not statistically significant differences, in the responses of the study sample, in relation to: years of experience, major, One of the most important conclusions of the study was that the challenges facing the process of empowering women leaders in higher education institutions are high, as they came in order: organizational and administrative challenges, followed by institutional cultural challenges, This requires facing these challenges and working to solve them. The study recommended some recommendations: activating legislation and directives that encourage women to participate in leadership work, organizing rehabilitation and training programs to support women’s empowerment and development in the professional and leadership aspects This requires facing these challenges and working to solve them.The study recommended some recommendations: activating legislation and directives that encourage women to participate in leadership work, organizing rehabilitation and training programs to support women’s empowerment and development in the professional and leadership aspects, And diagnosing the obstacles and challenges facing the process of empowering women leaders and developing appropriate solutions.
