The training program for this level is designed to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practitioners to be able to perform their duties effectively and achieve the standard in competency, in the manner desired by the Ministry of Human Resources according to the requirements of the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) in the OSH field.
1. Monitor the OSH system and operations.
2. Implement and employ OSH tools.
3. Lead and monitor compliance at the level of the workplace.
4. Carry out some simple risk management activities.
5. Contribute to the proactive improvement of occupational safety and health.
6. Provide advice and guidance in relation to occupational safety and health.
7. Disseminate and foster a positive occupational safety and health culture.
8. Facilitate communication in response to any accidents.
