Duties of the Committee

• Reviewing the research proposals submitted at the university and ensuring their compliance with the system of research ethics for living beings;
• protecting the rights of the living beings and ensuring their safety;
• ensuring the soundness of the approval procedures after the enlightenment;
• ensuring that the minor, incompetent or disabled persons are not exploited in scientific research, in any way;
• issuing an approval for conducting research ethically;
• and following up the extent of the researchers' compliance with the approvals given to them.
