Changing the Supervisor

“Article no. 49 of the unified bylaw for graduate studies at universities”:

In the case of the supervisor not being able to continue supervising the thesis, or the end of his service at UQU, the department suggests a substitute supervisor.

Notice:

• The supervisor is entitled to excuse himself for not continuing to supervise the student, giving justifications.
• The student is entitled to submit a written request to the head of the department to replace the supervisor if he has acceptable reasons that convinces the Department Council.
• The Department Council is entitled to decide whether to change the supervisor or not.
