The Department of Art Education in Al-Qunfudhah University College, Umm Al-Qura University seeks to achieve a high level of quality and to assume a prominent position on the educational map of the University on different levels (education, scientific research, society service and environment development). The Department also seeks to graduate competent art teachers who are capable of meeting the needs of the local educational institutions and capable of competing in the labor market inside and outside the Kingdom. This will be achieved through providing good environment for education and providing the necessary means and tools for education and scientific research.
The Department also aspires to prepare teachers on high level of artistic culture based on the Islamic heritage and seeks to regularly modernize and develop the educational programs and the educational means in all sub-specialties in the department in line with the mission of the Department and the College.
