Overview
Umm Al-Qura University is one of the great beacons of science and knowledge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It incorporates four university colleges, in addition to the main headquarters, and accommodates over one hundred thousand students.
Given the importance of the educational environment, the UQU has exerted the following efforts:
- Equipping the computer and language laboratories with up-to-date equipment and tools.
- Providing the laboratories and workshops with the latest advanced and high-tech scientific equipment.
- Introducing modern educational means into the lecture halls and auditoriums to ensure that the university’s outputs are as excellent and outstanding as required.
- Providing distinguished educational services.
- Establishing a department concerned with the educational support services under the name: “General Department of Educational Services”.

- Providing the best state-of-the-art equipment, including standard laboratories and facilities that meet the academic accreditation requirements.
- Upgrading the level of the services provided to the classrooms and educational studios in relation to their operation and maintenance, and providing their needs and requirements.
