Registration of personal data on the unified admission portal is possible throughout the year, but details about submission to the available programs shall be announced on the university website.

Selection for the available positions shall be based on the equivalent ratio obtained by the applicant to the programs of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and shall be calculated as follows: cumulative grade average - 50%, written exam - 30%, personal interview - 20 %.
The required stipulations include passing the General Aptitude Test (GAT) with at least 65%, the test being taken within the last 5 years. Registration takes place via the National Center for Assessment. Applicants to the programs of the Curriculum Department for Ph.D. must score at least 400 in the TOEFL test. The validity of the Standardized Test of English Proficiency (STEP) is three years from the date of the test. Applicants with non-educational majors must have earned the Diploma of Education.
Only Master's and PhD programs are available with the College of Education. They will be announced on 22 August, 1440 A.H. Applications for the Diploma of Education program will be announced in the month of Ramadan.
The prescribed period of study for obtaining a Master's degree shall be not less than four semesters and not more than eight semesters; the summer classes are not counted as part of this period. The prescribed period of study for obtaining a Doctorate degree shall be not less than six semesters and not more than ten semesters; the summer classes are not counted as part of this period.
1. Passing one or more semester or completion of an appropriate portion of the thesis. 2. The total deferment period must not exceed four semesters. 3. An application for deferment of study must be made at least two weeks before the beginning of the semester. 4. The deferment period shall not be counted as part of the maximum time period for obtaining the degree. 5. The deferment shall be effective only after the approval of the relevant department council and the deans of the college and postgraduate studies.

Male students shall submit a postponement request with satisfactory evidence of the reason for postponement to the Head of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Female students shall submit their postponement request to the Deputy Head of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. The letter of request shall be submitted with the pre-filled form during the period specified by the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies.
The additional opportunity to obtain the academic degree is the last opportunity for the student. The student is not entitled to apply for the postponement of the additional opportunity even if the period of postponement specified (four semesters) has not been used. The conditions of the additional opportunity are as follows: 1. The student may be given an additional extension opportunity of no more than two semesters on the basis of a report from the supervisor and a recommendation from the councils of the department and the college and the Council of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies subject to the approval the University Council. 2. The student should have completed at least 70% of their thesis.
