King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) launched the University Research and Research Centers Support Program on Wednesday 23rd Jumada II 1438H (22nd March 2017). The program comes within the National Transformation Program 2020 in order to achieve the National Vision 2030.
In this context, Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Ahdal, Head of the Science and Technology Unit, and Dr. Emad Flimban, the Assistant Head, attended the workshop of the Program. During the workshop, mechanisms and methods of presentation and the following seven support programs were demonstrated:
- Graduate Student Research Program.
- Basic Science Research Program.
- Applied Research Program.
- Innovative Research Program.
- Research oriented program.
- Industrial Innovation Program.
- Industrial Innovation Centers.
In addition, two programs have been launched: Graduate Student Research Program and Basic Science Research Program. The rest of the programs will be launched successively.
