The Department of Mathematics, on Tuesday, 18 Rajab 1442 A.H., organized a meeting entitled: "Academic Investment", via the WebEx online platform. The course, which targeted the students of the department, began by introducing the students to the importance of setting goals, and how to set goals and sort them.
This was followed by introducing students to postgraduate studies (master's and PhD), the importance of each stage, and the benefit a person can receive from their studies. The possibility of completing postgraduate studies was also discussed, which is now available in most universities in affordable ways. Students were directed to the importance of academic investment, as it is one of the few investments in which there is no loss.
At the end of the meeting, some of the attendees' questions were answered: whether practical experience takes precedence or scientific expertise, and if it is very difficult to study and work at the same time.
