Dean of the College of Applied Medical Science Dr. Ahmed Ashshi launched the "Induction Days" series for internship students at the College of Applied Medical Science. The first meeting was at Physiotherapy Department to update the fourth-year students on the importance of internship, to expound the university's general rules and regulations, and to explain the College's responsibilities to serve students.
The event was graced with the presence of Vice-Dean for Hospitals Affairs Dr. Maher Alandijani, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Ayman Al-Sayegh, Head of Physiotherapy Department Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, the department's faculty members and internship students, at the conference hall of King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC), Makkah, on Sunday, Jumada Al-Thani 20th, 1438 A.H., correspondent to March 19th, 2017 A.D.
The forum was commenced by reciting some verses from the Holy Qur'an, followed by a statement by Dr. Ashshi. He welcomed the audience and commended organizing such induction events. He also expressed his appreciation for the services offered by Vice-Deanship for Hospital Affairs to students, stressing the importance of such forums. Then he congratulated everyone for that achievement.
After that, Dr. Al-Sayegh thanked the College's Dean and Vice-Dean for Hospital Affairs for organizing the event, and for their efforts to serve students of the College.
This was followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, where he applauded the College's endeavors lead by Dr. Ashshi, encouraging all students of Physiotherapy Department to capitalize on their internship year. Then, he thanked them for participating in the event.
Then the day began with a lecture of the university's general rules and regulations for internship, delivered by Vice-Dean for Hospitals Affairs Dr. Maher Alandijani. After that, the department's Internship Supervisor Dr. Shamekh El Shamy addressed the audience of the internship booklet.
The event featured a number of activities by lecturers and specialists in the department who have previous experience in internship training at Makkah hospitals. At the end, students received answers to all of their inquiries.
